Reset the worktops after cooking
Put ingredients and utensils away, remove crumbs, and wipe spills using a product suitable for your counter material. Follow the manufacturer’s care advice, especially for natural stone or delicate finishes. Keep frequently used items grouped so the rest of the counter stays accessible.
Finish with the sink
Wash or load dishes, clear food scraps, and wipe the sink and faucet. Let cleaning cloths dry between uses and replace or wash them regularly. A short evening reset prevents yesterday’s dishes from becoming the first task of the next morning.
Treat grease and spills early
Once the stovetop is cool, wipe cooking spills before they harden. Clean appliance exteriors with suitable products and follow their care instructions. Do not dismantle appliances or use harsh abrasives unless the manufacturer specifically allows them.
Set aside the deeper tasks
Inside the oven, refrigerator shelves, cabinet fronts, and other detail work may need a separate plan. Keep a list of what you want help with and discuss it when requesting an estimate. Everyday habits and occasional detailed cleaning can work together without making every evening a full cleaning session.
